Canadian alt rockers The Darcys bring the party to The 27 Club Friday November 26.
The duo of Jason Couse and Wes Marskell have built a career on reinvention, pairing infectious melodies with forward-thinking production. Renowned for their genre-defying sound, Esquire noted the band “embody the sort of recklessly bold artistic ambition that ruled rock music in the ’70s but is significantly harder to find today.” Spin called their output “a pretty hybrid of Local Natives and Atoms for Peace,” and with each release, The Darcys continue crafting unpredictable, cinematic music.
With two new tracks out now, “over thinking” and “GOODTIME” a new 5-song EP is due in the fall. “GOODTIME” became the duo’s fastest-charting single to date and the most-added track at radio for two consecutive weeks and is currently top 10 at radio.
Catch The Darcys in this intimate setting for what will surely be a sold out show. Grab your tickets while you can at spectrasonic.com or via the link above,
