Five songs, 60 seconds. Do you have what it takes?
Once again, LiVE 88.5 is putting your musical knowledge to the test with our newest contest, Song in 60 Seconds! Every weekday, starting September 22, you’ll have the chance to play Song in 60 Seconds. Just after the 7am, and 4pm newscasts we’ll announce a codeword. Text that word to 613-727-8850 for your chance to play. If selected you’ll have to correctly identify the artist and song title behind a selection of songs in under 60 seconds. As soon as you correctly identify a song, we’ll move on the the next one, up to a maximum of five. You’ll get $50 for each right answer, so the quicker you identify the tunes, the more cash you’ll win! Plus everyone who gets 5/5 correct will be entered into a Grand Prize draw for $5000!
Song in 60 Seconds, to you from LiVE 88.5!
This contest is open to Canadian residents 18 years of age or older living within the terrestrial broadcast range of LiVE 88.5 (if you can get the station on your radio you can play). Every weekday at approximately 7:05am, and 4:05pm a LiVE 88.5 Announcer will give out a special code word. Text that word to 613-727-8850 for your chance to play. Our on air team will call one texter (contestant) to play the game. If a potential contestant does not answer their phone, we will move on to a new contestant.
When playing, artists and song titles must be identified in FULL. For example, the band is blink-182. Simply referring to them as “blink” would be technically incorrect. Dropping “the” from the beginning of a band name (Ex. saying Tea Party instead of The Tea Party) is acceptable. Songs must be identified in order. You cannot pass on a song and come back to it later.
