About the Tour
Despite careers that have spanned over 30 years, the two bands have never toured Canada together. “We’ve been on festivals together, and we did some shows together in Germany back in the day, but we’ve never actually toured together…until now”, says Christian Tanna of I Mother Earth.
“I have always been a fan of the band, said Matthew Good. “We did a show in Toronto in March, and knew that a tour had to happen”, remarked Matthew Good.
In late 2024, Matt and Christian connected for the first time in years. Those conversations led to a benefit show in Toronto in support of Unison Benevolent Fund. It was a special show that inspired the two bands. “Hey we should do this again, like 25 more times” , joked Tanna, and the bands got to work building a
national tour.
“You know a tour is going to be meaningful when you are excited to watch the other band’s set every night, Says Christian “Think about it. Hello Timebomb, Symbolistic White Walls, Indestructible, Weapon, Apparitions, Everything is Automatic, Strange Days. What an incredible set-list of music”
Adds Matt Good “When you have a band as musically gifted as I Mother Earth , you love to watch them play live, “Rain will Fall, One More Astronaut, Raspberry, Levitate, Used to Be Alright, Not Quite Sonic, Another Sunday, So Gently We Go.. That’s a lot of Bangers!”
Tickets are available on May 15th through ticketweb.ca. GA tickets are $69.99 and $72.50 + fees .There are also a limited number VIP ticket available for an intimate acoustic set prior to the show, which will see both bands on stage together. “This is always the most fun and challenging part of our tours” says
Christian Tanna. “ Getting the chance to jam and perform with other gifted musicians and blend all our styles is always unpredictable and rewarding. I really can’t wait for that”
