LiVE 88.5 has been supporting indie Ottawa bands since our very first year on the air. It started with Canada Day ’06 and The Big Money Shot, and we’ve played over 700 local bands on our airwaves ever since.

The O-Scene Airplay Criteria:

Please note, that due to the high volume of submissions, only those that fit the following criteria will be contacted for airplay:

1. Your song is awesome! (submit only 1 single/focus track please)

2. Your song must be a high quality professional studio recording (mp3 or WAV files only please)

3. Your song must fit LiVE 88.5’s Alternative Rock Format (only original recordings accepted)

4. You must be an active local band/musician (i.e. regularly performing live shows in and outside of Ottawa)

5. Have a social media presence.

Submissions are gathered and listened to every few months, so please be patient for a response.
