About the tour:
July Talk plot a major Canadian tour in 2026 for the 10th anniversary of their album Touch, which rocketed the band to major success including a run of radio hits, international touring and transformative sold out shows across the country, all of which solidified July Talk as one of the most artful, enthralling and potent live acts in alt rock.
“We’re thrilled to celebrate a record that changed everything for us, that connected us to the community we’ve called home since. We were moving too fast to truly experience its release back then, so we’re looking forward to the opportunity to savour the songs with everyone in some of the finest rooms in the country.”
Since their breakout with Touch, July Talk have both embraced and created opportunities to make their mark - loudly on stage and quietly in the moves they’ve made to promote safety, equality and communality in the world at large. Love Lives Here, the title of their 2023 feature-length documentary, began as a poster at shows encouraging fans to take care of one another. From the band’s first shows at The Silver Dollar to their era-defining run at Massey Hall in 2017 to the improbable feat of the 2020 Drive-In shows, their ethos - Euphoric Togetherness - remains undiluted, unflinching and uncompromising. Expect the same in 2026.
