The word processing tools new add real-time collaboration for up to 50 users. The spreadsheet adds speed and autofill. Plus, a whole new drawing tool is now online. Some of the updates may take a couple of days to appear.

Many think that Google is about to announce their own tablet based on their Android operating system. Like the iPad, it would have access to the web plus special books and magazines. The advantage it would have is its connection to the Google cloud. Gmail, Reader, Docs, Voice, Books and all that other Google stuff would be a big part.

Apple has created a patent on a type of glasses that would let you watch 3D movies anywhere. The glasses would let each eye see a different image and block out the rest of the world. For the first time, Apple has allowed an app that duplicates some of the core functionality in the iPhone. Google announced that the Nexus One can now be shipped to Canada. The phone costs $529 (US) and there is no deals for signing with an cell phone provider. The phone is unlocked which means (in theory at least) it would work on a variety of providers.
An interesting report points out that it took the iPhone 74 days to sell 1 million units. The Driod sold 1.05 million in 74 days. Nexus One sold 135,000 after 74 days. This has some people saying that the Nexus One is a failure. But there has been no splashy advertising campaign plus it is a new way to buy a cell phone.
Largest Infrastructure Project Ever
China has started working on a massive railway that will stretch from London to Beijing. Trains will run at 320 kilometers per hour and the whole thing could be done in 10 years.
